The Ladderback Trail
The Ladderback Trail

Route: Ladderback Trail, Schiff Path, Cadillac-Dorr Connector, Gorge Path, Cadillac South Ridge Trail, Canon Brook Trail, Kane Path

Trails were mostly dry and in good shape. Ladder back rock stairs very impressive. Upper Canon Brook was rugged, but lower portion and Kane Path were recently improved.

Encountered a patch of snow a few tenths south of the summit, a foot or two deep!

Directions to trailhead: The Ladderback Mountain Trail trailhead is located just south of The Tarn on Route 3 south of Bar Harbor. There is roadside parking.
