Looking up the Foss Mountain Trail Route: Foss Mountain Trail, (Foss Mountain North Peak), Foss Mountain Trail Though I knew it would be cutting it close, I decided to see if I could get up Foss Mountain in time for the sunset after a long day at work. While there were some colors early, by the time I reached the trailhead cloud cover had overtaken things. Thusly, I only jogged about halfway up, before switching to a more leisurely pace, seeing that I wasn't going to miss too much. Nonetheless, it was a nice view with ever so slight colors. Take a right onto Bull Pasture Road. Take a right onto Stewart Road. Take a left onto Foss Mountain Road.
