About

Mt. Livermore
Holderness, NH

Trailheads, measurements, times, distances, and maps are all approximate and relative to the hike(s) as shown below.
The Crawford Ridgepole Trail
The Crawford Ridgepole Trail

Route: Old Mountain Road, Crawford-Ridgepole Trail, (Mt. Livermore), Crawford-Ridgepole Trail, Old Mountain Road

Trails are very soft from the warm weather. Snow once again did not set up overnight, and in fact it seemed there was an inversion. Still one to two feet of snowpack, except for the short, wind scoured stretch (down to blue ice; snowshoe crampons adequate). I wore snowshoes roundtrip, which were sinking in a little bit on the ridge. Barebooting would be a disaster.
