Nice morning weather - warm temperatures, sunshine, and no biting bugs. Crew built cairns and scree walls to help summit navigation. Afternoon showers eventually moved in, adding to the mud on the Brook Trail.

Directions to trailhead: Take Route 11 West (north in reality) from Alton Bay. Parking lot and trailhead are on the left after the blasted out section of Route 11.
