Route: Ski trails, unnamed path
Ascended the West Mountain ski trails at Bretton Woods via running snowshoes (ski area had been closed for an hour, but grooming hadn't commenced on that side yet, so no interference with machinery or freshly groomed trail). Skier tracks led from the top of the lift to the highpoint and ledges (as visible from Zealand Notch side). From a skiing perspective, conditions looked to be top notch.
NOAA cloud forecast cut it close, but came through...mostly cloudy on the descent, but the sun snuck through a few minutes before sunrise, lighting up the Presis and overhead clouds.
