Route: Ski trails, unnamed path

Quick snowshoe jog on a sore ankle up the West Mountain area (after hours; this section appears to be closed midweek at this juncture) to the Mt. Oscar ledges (just beyond the top of the chairlift). Generally spring snow with an inch or two of powder that had fallen in recently and subsequently thawed/froze. Snowpack is still at March levels. Nice sunset from the ledges with mild temperatures.
