Route: Mt. Rowe Trail, Yellow Trail

While I was able to bareboot this loop in the warm temperatures on Saturday, the colder weather set up the ice and frozen granular, necessitating light traction. As was the case Saturday, about a third of the loop is bare ground. There are some areas of blue ice, black ice, and blue ice monorail. Where there is frozen granular, it's perhaps 1-2" deep.

Directions to trailhead: Take Route 11A East from Laconia. Take a right onto Belknap Mountain Road. Take a left into the Gilford Elementary School parking lot. The trailhead is located in the back, southeast corner of the parking lot.
