Trail was generally dry with the exception of some avoidable mud in the hardwoods and near the spring. Though cloudier than forecast, the afternoon weather this evening was such an improvement over last week.

Directions to trailhead: Take Route 2 West from Gorham. After passing Route 115 on the left, Starr King Road is on the right. The Starr King Trail parking lot trailhead will be at the end of this road.
