Route: Rattlesnake Mountain Trail, (Rattlesnake Mountain), Rattlesnake Mountain Trail

Trail was hardpack with constant shallow post holes and a few areas of blue ice (including one area in the flats down low where it bulged over a waterbar and continued down the trail). I was able to bareboot to the summit with care, but used Microspikes for the descent without issue. Snowpack is about 3-8 inches with a reasonably strong crust on top.

Directions to trailhead: Take Route 25 west from Plymouth, then take a right onto Main Street in Rumney. Take a left onto Buffalo Road. The Rattlesnake Mountain Trail and small parking lot will eventually be on the right, after passing two rock climbing parking areas.
