South Twin Mountain as seen from Mt. Liberty
Summary
South Twin Mountain is located less than a mile from the Galehead Hut and is part of the New Hampshire 4,000 footer list. The rocky summit features views in all directions.
Due to the seasonal closures of Gale River Road and Haystack Road, South Twin becomes more difficult to access in winter.
