The Stinson Mountain Ski Trail was cut to the south of the Stinson Mountain hiking trail in 1934. The ski trail was likely abandoned after about a decade or two of use.

1938 New Hampshire: A Guide To The Granite State
Stinson Mt. Trail. W. side Stinson Mt. 3.4m. from Rumney Depot (State 25) via Rumney. Length 2.3 m. Max. grade about 18°. Lower part of trail suitable for nvoices, upper half for intermediate and expert skiers. Open slopes with a vertical decline of 1000 ft. at W. base of mountain.

1940 AMC White Mountain Guide
Stinson Mtn. Ski Trail (WMNF) extends E (R) from a point on the Stinson Lake Road 3.4 m. from Rumney Depot, to the summit of the mountain, and is 2 3/8 m. long.
