Looking down the trail to Great Hill
With a nice blue sky, I had to get out for a quick hike. After a foot of fresh powder, I wasn't sure what to expect.
Arriving at the trailhead, I was somewhat glad to see that the trail had been packed by snowmobile. In fact, for the first time hiking here, I saw two snowmobilers.
As usual, the views were tremendous. Chocorua's rocky summit was white, making for great scenery.

Looking at Mt. Chocorua from the Great Hill firetower
Directions to trailhead: Take Great Hill Road from Tamworth Village. Parking area a few miles up once road turns to dirt. Trail to firetower starts at orange gate on uphill side of parking area.
