Route: Old Bridle Path

Last week's storm dumped enough snow to cover up the blue ice, making this trail a good, smooth bareboot at this juncture. Maybe 4-6" of snowpack in the woods with a breakable crust on top. Probably smoother to use snowshoes if going on other trails nearby (no recent traffic on the Ridge Trail).

Cold sunrise jog...temperature was -16F nearby.

Directions to trailhead: Take Route 113 West from Center Sandwich. The West Rattlesnake parking lot is on the left at a height of land, across from the Mt. Morgan parking area. The Old Bridle Path trailhead is located at the back of the parking lot.
