The trail near the Great Hill summit
Great Hill is turning into my safety hike. Knowing that I probably wouldn't have time to hike during the coming weekend, I decided to take a quick jog up Great Hill.
Though the forecast was rain (and it had rained earlier), I was able to catch a break in the clouds and a fairly dry trail.
The views from the summit were decent, despite the clouds. Most of the notable peaks were visible, with exception of Chocorua, which had a cloud stuck on its summit.

Directions to trailhead: Take Great Hill Road from Tamworth Village. Parking area a few miles up once road turns to dirt. Trail to firetower starts at orange gate on uphill side of parking area.
