Route: Hedgehog Mountain Trail
While in the past this may have been a roadwalk, a trail has been marked which joins and separates from it in a few places (in particular to avoid 4WD mud pits).
Superb western views from the summit ledges.

Looking southwest from Hedgehog Hill at Mt. Monadnock and the Antrim area peaks
Directions to trailhead: From Hillsborough, take Route 149 south, then take a right onto Old County Road. Take a right onto Hedgehog Mountain Road. The Hedgehog Forest parking area will eventually be on the right (the tenth of a mile of road was rough in spring 2014). The Hedgehog Mountain Trail is just beyond the parking area, on the opposite side of the road.
