Looking up the Falling Waters Trail
Route: Old Bridle Path, Falling Waters Trail, (Little Haystack Mountain), Franconia Ridge Trail, (Mt. Lincoln), Franconia Ridge Trail, (Little Haystack Mountain), Franconia Ridge Trail, Falling Waters Trail, Old Bridle Path
Heading up the crowded Falling Waters Trail, I cleared treeline a good hour plus before sunset. The ridgewalk, with increasingly long shadows being cast, and with the day's hikers gone, was quite nice.
The sunset was chilly but nice. A winter hat and gloves were necessary.
