The Crawford Ridgepole Trail
Route: Old Mountain Road, Crawford-Ridgepole Trail, (Mt. Livermore), Crawford-Ridgepole Trail, Old Mountain Road
Snow did not set up overnight, so snowpack was still a somewhat wet granular from yesterday's above freezing temperatures. Old Mountain Road could have been barebooted via this side (only a single sled track going down toward Route 113 side), but Crawford Ridgepole warrants snowshoes (as a postholer probably discovered recently). I wore snowshoes roundtrip for flotation and traction. No recent traffic heading northbound on Crawford Ridgepole.

Directions to trailhead: From Route 25 in Holderness, take Route 175 northwest, then take a right onto Perch Pond Road. Take a right onto Mountain Road. At the end of the maintained road, there is room to park at the turnaround. Continue on foot up the road.
