The Crawford Ridgepole Trail
Route: Old Mountain Road, Crawford-Ridgepole Trail, (Mt. Livermore), Crawford-Ridgepole Trail, Old Mountain Road
Despite heavy rains and above freezing temperatures yesterday, the snow hung on.
Old Mountain Erode was a mess with blue ice and running water. Light traction was necessary.
Crawford Ridgepole was hardpack with a little bit of a glaze. Light traction a good idea.
Overall, still about 1-2 inches of frozen granular remaining with a breakable crust.
