Route: Mt. Osceola Trail

Wanting to skip the tough portions of the winter ascent of East Osceola, as well as the chimney bypass between the peaks, we decided to walk up from Waterville Valley to Osceola.

After parking at the Livermore lot, we snowshoed up the groomed Tripoli Road, reaching the summer Osceola lot in about 3 miles. From there, the trail was somewhat smooth sailing all the way to the summit - the covered up rocky areas were a welcome treat.

The views from the summit were quite strong. After an extended stay at the ledges, we headed back down under blue skies.
