Route: Old Bridle Path

With not too much time until the Red Sox game, I decided to do a quick hike up West Rattlesnake.

The Old Bridle Path is pretty easy. The footing is good and the pitch never gets so much as moderate. Though usually crowded, the views from the ledges at the top make it worthwhile.

I was surprised to see not much in terms of foliage colour. While areas to the north and east are peak or even past peak, there is still a heck of a lot of great around the lake.
