Looking up the Old Bridle Path
Route: Old Bridle Path
Having been cooped up for three days due to work and bad weather, I was chomping at the bit to get some fresh air. Thus, I headed over to West Rattlesnake for a quick hike.
Despite the popular nature of the Old Bridle Path, it hadn't been broken out since the storm (just a set of bareboot tracks for something during the snowfall). Unintended trailbreaking. Fortunately, other than dealing with rocks still sticking up in places, it wasn't too bad.
Though not originally planning to be there for the sunset, I was nonetheless at the ledges as some limited colors were painted along the southern horizon. While I was tempted to linger a bit longer to see if things would improve, a bitter cold wind was less than palatable.
