Looking down the Old Bridle Path
Route: Old Bridle Path
Since the recent warm weather had melted out a most of the snow in the lower elevations in the Lakes Region, I took advantage of the conditions and went for a jog up West Rattlesnake via the Old Bridle Path. I was glad that I opted to wear Microspikes, as much of the trail had a layer of blue ice under a dusting of powder.
While some parts of the state were stuck in clouds, there were decent views from the near-summit ledges.
