Gilford, NH

Trailheads, measurements, times, distances, and maps are all approximate and relative to the hike(s) as shown below.
Looking up the Round Pond Trail

Route: Fire Road, Round Pond Trail, Round Pond-Piper Link, Boulder Trail, East Gilford Trail, (Belknap Mountain), East Gilford Trail

Trails were generally dry but concealed in leaves. Occasional wet ledge, but not a big issue today. Boulder Trail and East Gilford Trail would not be recommended in wet or icy conditions.

Very scenic loop. First time seeing Round Pond from the north shore, as well as ascending the Boulder Trail to Belknap. Also neat to see a snow covered Mt. Washington in the distance with golden foliage remaining in the foreground.
