Little Deer Hill
Chatham, NH, Stow, ME
Trailheads, measurements, times, distances, and maps are all approximate and relative to the hike(s) as shown below.

Looking up the Ledges Trail
Route: Leach Link Trail, Deer Hill Bypass, Ledges Trail, (Little Deer Hill), Frost Trail, Deer Hill Bypass, Leach Link Trail
With mediocre weather, I headed over to Evans Notch to do some exploring in the lower elevations. Starting at Stone House Road, I jogged the Leach Link Trail (generally good footing with some ups and downs) to the Deer Hill Bypass, then switched over to a walking pace for the steep Ledges Trail.
Reaching Little Deer Hill, I had decent views to the west, as the Baldfaces hadn't yet been fully engulfed in incoming fog in advance for the wet nor'easter.
For the descent, I jogged the Frost Trail back to the Deer Hill Bypass, then headed back up the Leach Link Trail.
