Route: Black Mountain Trail

Trail was mostly dry and in good shape. Good footing for White Mountain standards. Also some nice patches of blueberries on the northern summit ledges. Lots of surveying tape and stakes on the access road and first portion of the trail.

Directions to trailhead: From Route 116 in Benton, take Howe Hill Road south. The Black Mountain Trail trailhead and parking area are located just beyond the last house on the road.
