The Aspinwall Ridge Trail
Route: Foliage View Trail, Aspinwall Ridge Trail, bushwhack, (Farnum Hill), bushwhack, Aspinwall Ridge Trail, Robert Leavitt Trail, Aspinwall Ridge Trail, (Farnum Hill North Peak), Aspinwall Ridge Trail, Foliage View Trail
Trails were snow free and mostly dry. A few small patches of avoidable mud.
Did a brief bushwhack from the height of land on the trail on south peak to what seemed to be the highpoint (general vicinity of an airport beacon). Slight directional view from the powerline there, but otherwise nothing to see on that peak. Seems the land immediately south of that was posted.
Nothing to see on Middle Peak as well. North Peak had an airport beacon on the highpoint, from which there were narrow but good views of Mt. Ascutney.
Mellow trails with decent footing. Still some ice on some small ponds tucked in near south peak.

Directions to trailhead: From Exit 19 of I-89, take US 4 west, then take a left onto Poverty Lane. Take a left onto Foliage View Road. Take a left onto Rolling Ridge Road. The Foliage View Trail trailhead is at the junction of Rolling Ridge and Maple Hill. There is limited room to park on the side of the road.
