Route: West Ridge Trail

Arriving at the West Ridge Trail trailhead, the upper parking lot was surprisingly mostly empty. The West Ridge Trail was a bit wet in a few places, but for the most part good going. While the summit was extremely windy, we were able to find a place a bit out of the wind to sit down and check out the views. While there were some clouds in the area, the views were still quite strong - Killington to the west, the Ossipees to the east, Mt. Monadnock to the south, and the Fraconia Ridge to the north.
