Being that the Hancocks are an amazing destination in early spring, I headed to them on a nice, bluebird day. The trail was fairly smooth sailing, until we hit the steeps up North Hancock, where we hit sticky snow.

The views from North Hancock were superb, thanks to several feet of snow elevating us to the spruce treetops. After an extended stay on that summit, we headed over to South Hancock, from which we were able to get great views from a large drift just off trail.

The descent went fairly smooth, thanks in part to almost all of the water crossings still being snowbridged.
