Looking up the Bucknell Trail on the way to Prospect Mountain
Route: Bucknell Trail, (Prospect Mountain), Scarboro Ridge Trail, bushwhack, Scarboro Ridge Trail, buswhack, (Prospect Mountain), Bucknell Trail
Seeing that the higher summits in the area were in the clouds, I decided to head up to the Scarboro Ridge for some more trail work. After checking out strong views along the way (especially into Maine), I reached the end of the cut trail. I then continued up to the summit of peak 1,557 to check out the views up there for the first time. On the way back, I connected the bottom of it to the previously cut section of trail, allowing for a continuous hike (via a workmen's path) to Rice Hill Road.
